Vinton Street Creativity Festival

For the second year in a row, the Vinton Street Creativity Festival re-energized the historical Vinton Street Community.  There was never a dull moment in the day with all the bustling activity. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for all your contributions to the event.  Thank you Vinton Street merchants for sponsoring the amazing bands and performers on the stage.

We also got to welcome Vinton's newest resident, the Apollon, that weekend.  We are excited to have you in the neighborhood!

Victory Boxing giving kids skills and confidence.

The chalkboard conversation pieces let everyone express what they love about the neighborhood and life in general.

KETV Channel 7 getting some awesome coverage of Mike from Deaf Audio.

Midwest Dilemma took the stage and rocked it!

More urban art going down.

Break dancing during one of the band performances; so much was going on!

Thank you, Omaha Police Department, for patrolling the event.

Omaha Storm taught kids how to properly throw footballs.

Grace University taking a break from the busy day!

Representatives for Congressman Lee Terry kept cool in the shade.

How cool did this piece turn out?

Oscar started setting up at 6:00 a.m.  Thank you, Bag 'N Save, for letting us use your parking lot.  We couldn't have done it without you!
