Deer Park was been mentioned in two separate June news articles last week. Please use the links below to read two articles that mention our Habitat for Humanity Partnership Project, the Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative.

It is time to Come and Say Goodbye,
It has been a marker in the Deer Park neighborhood and in Omaha since its construction in 1947. Well, this Thursday will be a great day to come and say goodbye. The Rosenblatt Auction will be held this Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 1202 Bert Murphy Avenue (I-80 & 13th Street). All funds go towards the Omaha Zoo Foundation. In all, more than 900 lots of memorabilia, including dugout seats, signage, bases, players' lockers and more will cross the auction block.
Even if you are not interested in bidding, this day will mark the last time people will be able to see these items together in our beloved Stadium. I want to take a moment to thank the Rosenblatt Stadium and all its staff over the years, because of your service many citizens, families, and visitors made fun lifetime memories.
For more information you can visit a dedicated auction website athttp://www.rosenblattauction.com/.
